Mandella

When I began drawing pictures, it was purely for the look on another persons face.

After a while, years really, the process and the self resonance behind the process became the reason.

Than I looked back to the original idea, what do people want to see? It doesn't matter.

It's all a ride. When you decide to take that ride too serious and make your decisions based on fear instead of love, you will forget what a fun and fascinating ride it really is.

I think about the first people observing the monkeys howling at the rising sun, wondering if there was some other reason to call out with such fervor that the people hadn't figured out yet.
They started writing reasons down in the name of Thoth.
An Iguana found me and taught me what it means to just be.
When it passed on, I found another pet iguana and provided it with fresh hibiscus flowers throughout its years. That is the one pictured above.
When I was a child my mother's dresser was covered with miniature owls. I guess she collected them and it was what my father always tended to get her for a meaningless/meaningful gift.
Diego Rivera's paintings in the Presidential Palace in Mexico as well as the other masks, Aztec color and sugar skulls are the inspiration for much of my color technique and theory. I believe Rivera was a master in this regard.
Nature's camouflage and our gestalt is what allows this to look like a monkey, an owl, a human, a butterfly, a lizard, and a snake simultaneously. The universal geometric structure of sound, light waves, electrons, intention and imagination is what does the rest.
Eat your vegetables. Eat your meat.
The top of the circle is Norwuz or Spring Equinox, the bottom is autumn. The left eye represents Yule and the right eye is the Summer solstice. The other minor seasonal points of this round calendar are also denoted.
