Number 4 revisited

Still working on it, and of course this is a mirror image of what will be an entirely different panel hand painted to maintain some symmetry and promote other asymmetry.

I have some of my paintings on a new page of my portfolio site where I have the video feed of me painting.

Number 5

I am liking this one the most and have jumped in and done the most work on it before the first photograph. I did another one in red and yellow that I haven't photographed yet that got a row between where the yellow and red paint met when they were still wet and they made perfect flames.
This one will be some cow and buffalo skulls, flowers, birds, feathers, and other Indian things.

Number 4

This one is large, 3 by 2 feet. I have no real idea what to do. Certainly this is where I can explore some other things. I'm going to be using more handheld masking tools and continuing to mix brush, spray and other printing techniques.

Number 3

This one has a self portrait in raised on the left in the sun portion.

Number 2

Geronimo says most of these clowns and trolls are tricksters, god-damnit, there aren't any flyin' dolphins on the astral plane
You're doing it wrong.

Kundalini Meditation by Dazza1

This meditation music - I downloaded the full thing from soundcloud and listen to it when I work (do art)
It is the correct frequency. If you haven't heard, early in the 20th century, sometime between the World Wars, the secret societies re-aligned the 12-tone scale that all instruments are manufactured around to Tune with A at 440Hz. This isn't in line with true pitch. I go with Mozart (One half-semitone down)
True pitch is something that is determined by the universe, not man. Certain modern musicians like Jimi Hendrix, the Beatles, especially John Lennon's solo work, Led Zepplin and Foo Fighters record with the instruments tuned correctly to the "Music of the Spheres". The chants from the east and the original gregorian chants (not the crap from the 90s) were in tune with the Musica Universalis.
Listen to the Plastic Ono album with this ladies meditation music - hum and sing along - and you will see that they are both in tune with the universe and your own body.

Again, a work in progress. Get ready for the M.C. Escher stuff I'm planning on doing in this one. And the next and the next and the next. I'm using the glaze with the acrylic pigment for lots of layers. This thing will be transparent and will have some wild backwards/forground gestalt stuff.

This next series of posts is paintings that I am doing starting this April 4th. 7 days till my birthday.
I've so far called this one "Paging Richard Dreyfuss" because it looks like devils tower.
These paintings are all works in progress. I have ideas of what I'm doing - going to be doing on most of them. This one I have very little Idea. It is nice the way it is, but there are a few things I will do at the bottom to make that blue do something more. There isn't really much I can do about the bubbles right now, but that is a concern that I have considered addressing. One of the things I am doing now on these paintings is the contrast between flat colors and glossy colors. I'm also (hard to see on most of these) using more definition than I ever have before. Most of my paintings in the past are smooth. I painstakingly smoothed out ripples and rolls in the paint like someone painting a wall in a house would. I had a more craft and less painterly approach in the past. Letting the paint drip and mix colors on the canvas is always something I have been trying to do more.
